One hit kill (often fails) (available by hacking). Lowers enemy DEF (defence) and AGI (agility). Increases AGI (agility) and DEF (defence). If given, the game description for each item is in italics. The exceptions are Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict and exclusive items from scenario II and III of Shining Force III, where unnoficial translated names are given instead.
All names are from the english versions. It’s a spell exclusive to the character Pendolf. Penn is a fire summon, which brings forth the character Penn to deal fire damage. It’s exclusive to two later scenarios and only obtainable by using the according special equipment. Hell Dragon is a fire summon, which brings forth a fire dragon to deal fire element damage. It’s only obtainable by using the according special equipment, but some enemies have it innately, like Braff and Dessheren. Phoenix is a fire summon, which brings forth the legendary fire bird to deal fire element damage. It’s a learnt by the four heroes and Jane in scenario III but is amongst the data of the others, albeit very different in every category. Inferno is a fire element spell, which shoots fire beams from above. Katon is a three level fire element spell that is comparable to Blaze latter levels, in MP cost, power, area of effect and range. Apollo is a sorcerer spell that deals fire element damage. Other Shining Force Gaiden II (Shining Force CD: Book 2) Blaze has several equipments that work as counterparts but the most important are the Black Ring and the Heat Axe, appearing in every single title of the series. It started as a 2-5-8-8 configuration in Shining Force, switching to a 2-6-10-10 for every game since then, and returned to the first configuration in Shining Force III. 
The area of effect and range of the spell has been consistent through the games, but not the MP cost for later levels. It’s learnt by default by every starting Mage in a force except for Shining Force II and Shining Force scenario III who have no such mage in the starting rooster but in both cases at least one character that joins later has it. 2.4 Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflictīlaze is a fire element spell, which burns a target with bright flames.
